The Harrell & Harrell team was proud to once again be a Blue Ribbon sponsor of the Clay County Agricultural Fair. As we did last year, we sponsored the Livestock and Agricultural Arena, providing fun and informative “farm facts” banners throughout the animal barns, and the Wall of Champions, which featured photos of the 4H and FFA Youth livestock winners. For this year’s fair, we also supported the “Ag-Town” exhibit, sponsoring the Ag-Town square in this small town run by student volunteers.
A long-time and valued fixture in the Northeast Florida community, The Clay County Agricultural Fair continues to expand its offerings to visitors. In addition to livestock exhibits, great fair food, local entertainment, and rides for all ages, this year’s fair included the event’s first-ever “Sunflower Hours,” created to provide quieter hours so that guests with sensitivity to noise and crowds can enjoy the fair.
“We’re thankful for the opportunity to be a part of this family-friendly event that has brought the community together since the early 1970s,” says Harrell & Harrell President Renee Harrell, who grew up in Clay County. “From raising money for local charities to sponsoring pet adoptions, the fair is a terrific resource for residents of Clay County and the surrounding area. We couldn’t be more proud to be a part of it.”
