For almost three decades, Harrell & Harrell, P.A., has been practicing law and helping those who have been injured. Throughout our history, the team has worked together to remain dedicated to client service and the practice of personal injury law.
Rosanna Wilcox has been in the legal field since she was 19 and joined Harrell & Harrell in 2001. Being half American and half Panamanian, Rosanna describes herself as the “best of both worlds” as she is able to serve both the English- and Spanish-speaking communities. Rosanna is a pre-litigation case manager at Harrell & Harrell, working diligently to provide her clients with dedicated and caring service right at the fronthand of their case.
Personal History
Rosanna was born and raised in the Panama Canal Zone. Growing up in the Panama Canal Zone but attending American schools, she speaks fluent Spanish and English. Rosanna moved to Jacksonville in 1983 and worked for various firms in the area before starting as a case manager at Harrell & Harrell. Rosanna says seeing the results of her clients motivates her. “Being a part of my client’s journey, even if only in a small way, is rewarding to me,” Rosanna said.
Rosanna values the close relationship she has with her family more than anything. Her mom and two brothers live in Jacksonville and her sister lives in Virginia, and they gather regularly. Rosanna loves the beach, football, and is an avid reader—she has read 53 books this year alone.
Role & Responsibilities at the Firm
As pre-litigation case manager, Rosanna meets with new clients to help them in the initial stages of their case. Some of her tasks include assessing property damage, helping to medically manage the incident, explaining insurance options to the client, negotiating with insurance companies, and settling cases. In all her work, Rosanna is motivated by helping people and seeing her clients through to the results they deserve.
“Seeing how well my clients recover is amazing to me,” said Rosanna. “The other day, I got a call from a past client who was in an accident that left her and her 6-year-old daughter barely able to walk and talk. She called to tell me that her daughter just turned 18 and is receiving the first installment of her structured settlement. They are still so grateful for the work I did on their case all those years ago.”
Rosanna loves her role at Harrell & Harrell and sees herself continuing to serve as a pre-litigation case manager for many years to come. “Every day is different, and I think that’s what excites me about it,” Rosanna said. “You never know what the next day will hold.”
According to Rosanna, Harrell & Harrell is different from any other firm she’s worked with. “They treat their employees and clients like family,” Rosanna said. “They’re extremely compassionate and understanding.” Rosanna is thankful to the Harrell family for giving her the opportunity to grow as a professional and as an individual alongside passionate, hard-working peers at Harrell & Harrell.
